Need to know how to reinstall a Broadcom 57XX Controller and setup adapter
I have an Optiplex GX280 running Windows XP and need to know how to reinstall a Broadcom 57XX Controller and setup the network adapter. I ran the driver but when I try to install the net work adapter thru add new hardware, a generic network adapter shows up and I can't locate the correct one.
Need Help !!!!!

Thanks The problem was a short between the ears. If you now what I mean.

Download and run this driver package:

If it doesn't automatically launch the installer, then run C:\Dell\drivers\R132254\setup.exe.

It is important to know "how" it happened to 1) fix it properly, and 2) keep it from happening again.
