New Dell XPS 8700 and GEFORCE GTX 960 GRAPHICS CARD

Will the 8700 power supply (460 watts) be sufficient for the GeForce gtx 960.  The specs say only 400 watts are needed.  Also, if the graphic card requires an 8-pin for connecting is there an 8 pin available or can a 6 pin+2 be used.  What problems are likely with replacing the Dell XPS 8700's graphic card with a MSI Geforce GTX 960 graphic card.  If the power supply is insufficient what about using a Sentey Modular Mbp 750-hm as it is the same dimensions (5.9"x5.5"x3.4").  Is there a solution available for using the Dell Power Supply with what is available on the Factory Dell 8700?

Specific Geforce 960 cards that come with Dual 6 pin to 8 pin adapter cable work fine.  If your 960 card comes with 1 8 pin and 1 6 pin connector its using more than 225W and it will not work without upgrading the power supply.
