New Inspiron 3252 won't boot
I bought a new Inspiron 3252 online and picked it up last month when I was in Canada, since I work outside North America. I got to my base and it wouldn't boot. The error message I get is: "Windows could not complete the installation. To install Windows on this computer, restart the installation". But when I click OK by pressing Enter (no mouse cursor seen), it keeps coming back to the same screen after a delay of about a minute. I happen to be in a place where there doesn't seem to be an authorized Dell support centre. Can anyone please help?

If this is Windows 10 - HOME, see if there's a fix here.

I tried that, it seems to be for Windows 7 only. It didn't work for Windows 10.

Guess you can download the Win 10 image from Dell and do a clean install.

That also didn't work, was told there was no version available for download for my service tag! Anyway, I was eventually able to get someone from Dell Support who was willing to take the two hours required to walk me through the process until it finally booted. Using it now - thanks for your help.
