New XPS 8910, looking for SSD Upgrade
Hey,
I just purchased an XPS 8910 (still in-build), and there was no option in the configuration process for an SSD Drive (Boxing Day Special). Now I see this:
Dell 256GB internal Solid State Drive (SSD) Upgrade Kit for upgrading Dell Desktops & Notebooks - 2.5' SATA - Dell part A9384252
and I'm wondering if I can just order this and add it as a new Boot Drive? So I can have that nice SSD Boot / HD Data configuration. It seems like that is the case: Also wondering if the upgrade kit comes with instructions for that or it sounds like I can call Dell technical support and have them walk me through it?
Wish I could have just done this pre-purchase, but better late than never. At this point I might wait until I get my Advantage Rewards because then I can get the upgrade kit for free?!
Thanks,
j.

You shouldn't have any issues with that. It looks like it has all the cables and everything else you would need.
