New graphics for windows 7 on dimension 5000

Hi - I have just installed windows 7 on my PC, and am now looking for a PCI E (16) graphics card that will suit, as cannot find driver for exisiting graphics in Windows 7, I believe it is best to use the same manfacturer as the original Graphics card, but what is this? how can I find out? It is a built-in graphics (onboard?) on my Dimension 5000, tag h2bbm1j

Look in the Device Manager to check for the model video card. Your pc is almost a 10 year old model. It would not be practical to buy anything to upgrade it and not many suitable parts can be found. Put the money towards a new computer. That ancient model does not meet the requirements for running windows 7. Reinstall windows xp and don't connect to the Internet to be safe. Or recycle it.
