No sound on Inspiron 400
Just received my new Dell Inspiron 400 zino HD. I'm using Windows 7 & everything is hooked up correctly. I ran an analysis on this & everything is working correctly, also. The top of the tower does not stay on, however, everything else works properly. What should I do to have sound? Thank you.

You need analog, powered, external computer speakers. There are no built in speakers. Is this the issue?
If not, explain exactly what the "sound" problem is.

I have external speakers that are Conexant CX20561 SmartAudio HD, which came with the system. There is not a power cord & they are plugged into the correct jack in the back of the cpu. There is not a power button on either speaker. When I test them, I get the message "They are working properly", however, there is no sound. I don't know what else to do.
