OCCT Crash Code 4...??...??..??..

what the,,,,,,,,,does this mean?????

 

i got the rig to post at 3.67ghz....,,,,:)  but then....code  4

This is from another forum.

 

Code 1 : thread stopped because another thread stopped
Code 2 : stop by user
Code 3 : memory error
Code 4 : calculation error

Go in the OCCT folder, you have text files named thread01.txt to thread04.txt. Each thread is for a different CPU core. In each text file you have a code. Usually you'll get a code 4 in one of the threads as even if the problem is memory/NB related, it will lead to calculation error

So a code 1 displayed, means nothing. You have to open the text files to see wher you got a code 3 or code 4

You got me on this one brotherman??? I have no clue on the "Code 4" - It sure don't sound to healthy to me:smileytongue:

It simply means ur chip isnt stable at that speed.Remember each is different that the next..

haven't been able to locate the log to identify specifics on the error..??..??......

thanx, i wish i could back down a weeeee bit on the fsb to dial in a more stable oc!  but that's another thread.

 

 

 

i'm gonna run it again, overnight and see what happens.

callin' it a night!  btw, prime runs, occt don't like 3.7ghz at all!   :(
