Optiplex 755, ram

Good day Sirs,

I have Mini Tower OptiPlex 755 with 0GM819 motherboard

and I want to upgrade my RAM in case of use optimally FSB (MHz).

At the technical guide (thank's for link to SpeedStep) I didn't find any information about supported max bus clock (MHz) of RAM.

What max or optimal amount of FSB (MHz) I should use to upgrade?

??? (800 MHz  1066 MHz 1333 MHz) ???

P.S. my processor is Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor E6550 (4M Cache, 2.33 GHz, 1333 MHz FSB)

Page 12 of that guide states that only 667MHz or 800MHz are supported on the Optiplex 755.

DDR2 8500 still runs at 1066 (DDR2 6400) and never reaches 1333.   16 gigs is possible (minus the intel frame buffer) but only with specific ram chips from ONE vendor.  The cost of this ram makes it a non starter when you could buy a newer dell for the cost of 4  $139 ram chips AKA $556
