Optiplex 790 SFF hard drive not detected

Service tag [Admin note, Service tag # removed to protect consumer]. TD    Came in this morning to see "Hard drive not detected".  Tried all diagnostics, no error except "Hard drive ....".  Rebooted several times got same message.  Turned off at power button (held down).  Restarted and came back to life.  Did disk check, no errors.

Concerned that this happens again, this PC is essential to our business and operated by office staff.  Would interrupt business if computer went down while I was away or could not reboot.

Please advise solution.

Make USB installation media with Dell Backup and Recovery if you have not already done so:

Alternatively Download a Windows 10 TH2 .iso and prepare a Bootable USB using another computer:

Backup data to an external hard drive and then run full F12 preboot diagnostics:
