Optiplex Q6600
How well does the Desktop/slim version of the 745 handle a Q6600 go stepping. I currently have the desktop/slim version of the 745. I want to upgrade the Pentium D 925 to a Core 2 quad q6600. I know the 745 mini tower runs fine with the q6600, but not sure about the desktop version since it has a different heatsink fan and smaller psu.

Hello,
Your system was not offered with that configuration, therefore the upgrade has not been tested by Dell and we cannot confirm functionality, you could run into overheating or no post issues.
