Power supply

The power supply on my Dell Inspiron died less than six months after purchase.  The warranty provides for 1-2 business days service BUT the part is back ordered and no one can say when or if it will be supplied.  This is a mission critical computer for a small non-profit that serves children that have been abused.  Dell is worth 25 BILLION dollars.  The warranty, however, appears to be worthless.  We spent nearly $500 in charitable contributions to buy this Inspiron desktop ... and the best we can get for service is "if, maybe, or could be ... but we don't know when".    I have purchased many Dell computers over the years for NGO(S) ... this will be the last.  What a disappointment!

Our apologies that the power supply is on backlog from the manufacturer. What specific system model? Did you purchase the system directly from Dell? New or Refurbished?
