Precision T5500, no audio
I just purchased a refurbished T5500 and it works great. But, there is one problem, there is no sound. I have plugged the speakers into the jack on the back and there is no sound. I feel I have plugged it into the right jack because the windows speaker test is disabled when I don't have the speakers plugged in. So some part of Windows (Windows 7) "knows" that the speakers are plugged in. But I still have no sound. I have tried updating the drivers but no luck. Ideas?

Our apologies that your post was missed. Did you resolve this issue? If not;
* Reboot into the Bios -System Configuration -Miscellaneous and make sure Audio has a check. If not, check it and click Apply. Then exit the Bios
* Reinstall the Chipset driver. Reboot when done
* Reinstall the Audio driver. Reboot when done
* Plug the speakers into the rear green audio out jack
* Test some audio
