Processors Intel® Core™2 Q6600 Quad-Core vs. Core™2 Duo E6700 Clash!

Hi everyone!
 
I'd like to upgrade to XPS 720 system but I'm undecided about these processors: Intel® Core™2 Q6600 Quad-Core vs. Core™2 Duo E6700.
 
I will appreciate your feedback about their performance vs. energy effiencecy.

Here'a an article from a very trusted source comparing the Q6600 to a E6850, which is a step or two better than the E6700.
