Radeon 9800 Board Failure x 2

We have 2 8300 Dimension computers; both have ATI AGP 9800 Pro video cards; one has failed and this one is in the process. Isn't it coincidental that both computers purchased at the same time have the same problem? So far, Dell says it's just too bad. Does anyone else have problems with this video card failing or are we the exception?
