Reformatted Dimension 3000 with XP but have no sound
I originally downloaded the drivers in the incorrect order so I went back and reformatted again. The first time I had sound but my monitor was a disaster. I followed the directions from this site and everything is up and working except for my sound. I attempted to redownload the audio driver after the fact. Now, I get an error saying that my hardware does not support the driver. Do I need to reformat again?

Did you install the Desktop System Software first before all other drivers? Directions here.

Yes, I believe so. I may have downloaded the Network interface card driver before anything else. Could that be where I slipped up? Should I uninstall everything and then reinstall in the correct order? If so, how do I do that?
