Registering monitor for warranty purposes
My brand new monitor P2213, not bought from Dell, has 3 yr warranty but no service tag.
Is working fine.
Q) How can I register my monitor with Dell for warranty purposes? The Dell customer service line says that Dell won't deal with the inquiry since not purchased from Dell. It has a part number and a full serial number.

SERVICE TAG = SERIAL NUMBER they are one and the same.
If you did not buy from dell then the warranty comes from the 3RD party not dell.
The difference between Black Market and Grey Market is often hard to distinguish.
