SYSTEMS CONFIGURATION NOT BEEN DISPLAYED

I have purchased Desktop Inspiron 660s base model with DOS OS from local dealer. iam entering service tag no. to check system configuration associated with system, but following message is been displayed.

On Clicking :   View original Configuration: 

Message:        There is no configuration information associated with this system.

Pl guide how to check genuineness of the product.

This must not be from the USA.  I'm not aware of DOS being Sold anywhere.

You will have to check with Dell in your country If it was even sold by actual Dell Dealer.

Did you register the Service Tag with your name, address, etc. after purchase from the dealer? You may need to do that first and it can take a few days (or longer) for the Service Tag to show up in Dell's system after you register it.
