Secondary hard-drive issue
Hi,
I'm trying to read data from a WD 1TB drive by installing it in the second drive bay of my Inspiron 620. This drive is from a WD NAS device that i cannot connect to using the network, I'm trying to save my files. Drive appears in device manager, working properly, but i can't see it in windows explorer? Will it have specific formatting from the NAS device? Any suggestions appreciated.

WD's NAS appliances use drives that run a proprietary Linux operating system - you're not going to be able to read the drive by dropping it into a Windows system.
