So much for great customer service

Well, Dell is supposedly known for technicians who go above and beyond. Guess it is all a lie. My brother printer won't work with my new windows 8.1 system, even though I have downloaded the proper drivers and the printer is supposedly installed. Brother says it is a computer issue.  Dell says it is a hardware issue.  BUYER BEWARE!

I explained the issue to two different techs. Dell was my last ditch effort. They won't touch it. He wouldn't even make a half-hearted attempt to appease me by trying something. Think Dell wants me to buy a printer from them??? You better believe they do.

What a horrible disappointment. Next time, I'm buying Samsung. At least I know what I'm in for.

Dell cannot help you with another manufacturer's product. Brother should help you get their printer to work with win 8.1. Check the MS Compatibility Center to see if there is a conflict.
