Solid amber led on motherboard
Hello,
I have a Dell 630i and noticed the led on the motherboard next to the battery is no longer green. Its a solid amber looking color. I've tried googling it and havent yet found a solid answer, any ideas what it means?

Could have swore it used to be green colored

This question is asked 36,572 times a day. The motherboard LED indicates 5v STANDBY power is available and nothing more. FLEA LED. 5vsb being available IS NOT an indication that the power supply is good. It just means the system has a power cord and its plugged into the wall with power available.
