Sound in desktop

Hi,

This might be an issue with the chassis as well as the hard drive. Have you tried opening the cover and checking which part of the system the sound is heard from?Before you proceed with this, ensure the following steps are performed

1. disconnect the power cable
2. Hold down the power button for 10 seconds
3. Open the chassis cover
4. Check if there are any wires in contact with the fans/drives.
5. Reseat power cable and start system. Take care not to touch any internal components when system is on. 
6. Once the fault is isolated,follow step 1 and 2 and reseat chassis cover.
