Speakers no sound
I have an old Dell dimension 2400 desktop. I had sound for the speakers that came with it. I got a new flat screen monitor with built in speakers. The new monitor went bad. I now need to use the old external speakers that came with the PC. I cannot get any sound from the speakers now.
could someone help.

Welcome to the community
Do you plug in the speaker at the audio port at the back? Can you try this speaker with other audio resources? Like I-pod or mp3 player?
Can you also check under device manager if all drivers are installed? Start > Right Click My Computer > Manage > Device Manager.
