Studio One 1909 Slow Boot through Dell splash screen

I'm working on a Studio One 1909.  When it boots the Dell splash screen comes up and shows a progress bar.

The progress bar hangs for a long time at about 15% .. and eventually finishes.

This seems like odd behavior and I'm wondering if there's something wrong.  But, I can't figure out where to look as it all still works.

Is this just normal?

Hello Fred339,

Welcome to the community,

To isolate the issue,

1) Please release the flea power on the computer and check. Turn the computer off. Disconnect all the cables (Power, Network, any peripherals etc.,) from the computer and then press and hold the power button for 10 seconds. Release the button and then connect the power cable. Turn the computer ON and check if the issue is fixed.

2) Update the BIOS on the computer. To update the BIOS, please open the following weblink and then select the operating system installed on your computer and download the Latest BIOS. Download the file and run the file.

flea power???

Hello Fred339,

In technology Jargon flea power is residual electricity or current often stored on circuit boards (in power supplies, mother boards etc) that remains charged even after all power cords and batteries have been removed. To drain flea power, remove batteries and power cords then attempt to 'turn on' your device.

Please post back if you need further assistance.

Thanks & Regards
