Thanks to Fireberd for response to my no sound on my computer problem.
Sorry for all the missing information. I'm new to this forum thing! Computer is Dell Dimension 8400 w/Windows XP (purchased 2005). A set of CDs came with it. One is entitled Drives and Utilities. Says contents are: Drives, Diagnostics and utilities, Online documentation and Modem on Hold. Is this the CD I should use to download the drivers you were talking about? Or should I just go to Dell's website as suggested for the download?

You can use the Dell Drivers and Utilites disc as it has everything you need on it. Later, after you get everything working if you want to update any drivers (if there is an updated driver) you can consider that.
