Trying to install new sound card in a Precision 450...

i've got a precision workstation 450, Xeon 2660, 1.5gig ram, dvd and combi drive, 80gig and 40gig hard drives and a floppy. It came with a Quadro FX 1000 graphics card and i've just got a soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum pro sound card to put in there, there are 2 pci and 1 pci-x slots free, however, there doesn't appear to be a spare power socket anywhere, well, there's one spare but it has the wrong kind of connector, the Audigy card requires the type that goes into a cd/dvd drive. Is there a way of getting an extra socket connected or will i simply have to unplug the dvd drive? ( up to now i've only used the combi drive, anyway...)

Thanks for any help in advance :)

EDIT: Someone's just recommended that i use a splitter cable (4pin to 2x4pin power cable) to get power to the Audigy, does anyone know if it's wise to do this? Cheers!
