Unsupported Video Configuration Detected

I have a new from the box Dell OptiPlex 7010 desk top computer that I am attempting to connect to a new from the box Dell E2414Hr monitor.  I am having huge issues!!!  Error message states:

This computer has an add-in graphics card, but the monitor is plugged into the integrated video connector.  It also mentions an adapter that I cannot find in the box.  How can I fix this???

Duh! You're trying to connect the monitor to one of the onboard video outputs. But this PC apparently has a factory-installed add-in video card which disables the onboard video output. So that's why you're getting that error message.

Look at the diagram here for the Desktop form. You should connect the monitor to a port that's in the area marked "expansion-card slots" (#13), and NOT in the area marked "back panel connectors" (#12).

Obviously, if you don't have an add-in video card, there is a problem and you should contact Tech Support asap.
