Update errors
I am semi-novice so please bear with me. I have an Inspiron 620. I cannot download Security update for MS.NET Framework 3.5.1 (KB2837610) and System Update Readiness Tool for Windows 7 (KB947821),Other updates do download automatically. Microsoft FixIt patch didn't work and I've tried 'scannow' and more with no help. One recommended was to insert the Windows 7 disk for repair. My Windows was pre-loaded when I purchased my Dells so I don't have a disk. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.

If you reside in the US and are the registered owner of the computer, a disc containing the factory-installed operating system specific to your system, can be requested from HERE.
Note: Dell may make a charge for the disc.
If you don't reside in the US, contact Dell's Support that's located in your country.

Have you recently restored to factory settings? The update is from May 2014 and you may try manually installing it from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=3132
http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=21
Regarding factory settings you should uninstall any Dell Backup and Recovery or Dell DataSafe program, then install the latest version from
http://www.dellbackupandrecovery.com/
Once you have this you should have the ability to quickly factory restore:
http://www.dellbackupandrecovery.com/en-us/Index2.html
Once you have the latest version you should also create a recovery USB:
You may use the Recovery USB to restore to factory settings:
The recovery USB made from the latest version has many improvements from that made of earlier versions in that it can restore to a smaller size of hard drive (should you alter decide to upgrade to a SSD for instance).
