Hi Cindy,
Dell has not tested 650W PSU with this system model. The maximum supported PSU tested by our Product Group team on this system model is 300W. You may upgrade to 650W PSU. The motherboard meets the requirements as required by the graphics card except the power supply.
You may refer to the link for system requirements of the graphics card http://bit.ly/pnH0K2
You can also refer to the link for compatible power supply with the graphics card http://bit.ly/ifxvEP
Note: If you opt for a bigger power supply, the physical dimension may vary.
Please reply if you have any questions.

Just curious why such a powerful psu for your system? XFX is Seasonic produced and an A+ power supply, but you could probably run the specs you list at stock power, including the gpu. No harm in being safe, but 520w was enough for my phenom upgraded i570 running a 6870 that probably pulls twice the amps as your card. I'd look at a Seasonic M12II 430w or S12II if you don't want modular cabling....

Thank You DELL-Appu S your information is helpful in my research, and it's on going lol...
OCMusicJunkie, I am experiencing Error Code 12 in my Sims3 Game, and with Seasons Expansion Pack soon coming out, I'll need even more memory and as my computer sits now, I'm barely making the required specs for this game, so I'm looking to upgrade, I probably know enough to get me into trouble, and my computer in the shop .... :P but I'm gonna try to wing this on my own!, so ANY input is helpful to me
I have no clue as to what "modular cabling" means ... another research topic :)
I will take a look at your recommendation :) of the 520w Seasonic PSU ,
Also, I have a RAM question! the RAM I'm used to seeing (older Dell Demension 8400) I installed 2 sticks, but when I looked inside this computer, there are 3 long sticks and 1 empty slot ... I thought you had to do 2 or 4 ??? I'm confused!

to be more specific as to why I'm confused .... I've alway's thought that RAM was installed in either slot 1 and 3, or 2 and 4 with matching memory sticks ... I've never seen three in a row .... ! hopefully that helps to explain why this is confusing for me!

I believe I have found the answer to my question ... it appears I have 2 1GB Sticks and a 2 GB stick for a total of 3GB's, I will be replacing all four with 2GB's for a total of 8 RAM, upgrading the PSU, and the video card .... still need to do my research about the "modular cabling" ...

This is the upgrade I'll be doing in the next couple of weeks
PSU = Cooler Master GX - 650W 80 PLUS Bronze Power Supply (RS650-ACAAD3-U
Graphics Care = ASUS EAH6570/DI/1GD3(LP) Radeon HD 6570 DDR3 1 GB Video Card
and RAM will go to 8GB using 4 2GB sticks
Will let ya'll know how it goes!
