I think a little more information would help - the integrated graphics chip on the 530 will run at reasonable resolutions, so what exactly do you want to get out of an upgrade - or what problems do you currently have? This matters because there are different choices depending on what you want.
We also need to know what size of screen (resolution) you have - again because this affects your choices, and for design work you may be running a big monitor at higher than normal resolutions.
And we need to know what CPU your machine had when new. This is important not for performance reasons, but because the PSU in 530 machines varies depending on the CPU, and (generally speaking) dual core machines have a 305W PSU that doesn't have a 6 pin PCIe lead - this could restrict your choice of video card.
