Upgrading OptiPlex 9030 AIO wireless card
Has anyone tried replacing their wireless card? I've read somewhere that some are locked by 'Bell bios white list,' whereas some Intel to Intel replacements are OK.
I am thinking for upgrading from Intel AC 7260 to AC 8265. Since both adapters come in the same form factor and carry similar features, there should be no hardware compatibility issues.
Any comments?

Much easier to buy a USB wireless adapter and disable the internal one. Cheap and effective.

Hilarious. Why didn't I think of a USB? It's not a laptop and I have plenty of slots behind. You're right. Might have to remember that when Bluetooth 5 comes out.
I hope the AC 8265 will work on my PC. It has Bluetooth 4.3 and more. And I've bought it on eBay for $20.
