Will my system with ATI radeon 4670 or 4650 run on a 300 watts PSU???
HELLO EVERYONE !!! THIS IS MY FIRST FORUM IN DELL COMMUNITY. I wanted to ask ... if my system ( specs below) with an ati radeon 4650 or an ati radeon 4670 be able run on a 300 watts PSU .
PC SPECS: Dell Inspiron 580 :
Core i5 760 @ 2.8ghz
4GB DDR3 Ram
500 GB hard disk
16X DVD+/-RW with Dual Layer Write Capability
300 WATTS PSU
and nvidia geforce 310 ( thats wat i wanna change to an ati radeon 4650 or 4670)

I doubt it, the manufacturer's requirements for the ATI Radeon 4670, is a 400w, or greater power supply.

I have used a 4650 on several systems without issue.
If you have a 300W power supply I think its fine.
HOWEVER if you have a Slim Desktop with 180W to 200W power supply then it wont work.

my computer hooked up to my HD TV is an Ins 546 with a ATI 4650 in it. It's 300watt P/S runs it fine
