Windows 7 64-bit Install Issue on Inspiron Desktop 580

This machine did not come with an install disc.  But after calling Dell, they provided one.

Now trying to do clean install and I get the following error:

'Windows has encountered a problem communicating with a device connected to your computer'
'This error can be caused....... blah blah blah blah blah blah''

'Status: 0xc00000e9'
'Info: An unexpected I/O error has occurred."

I unplug everything but the keyboad, mouse, and monitor (hdmi) and still get this error.

Help Dell!

Why are you installing Windows? There is no need for a clean install with new computers nowadays and no one receives a system disk or any software disks with new computers. When necessary you just revert to Factory Settings which is an image file on a hidden partition on the hard drive. Win 7 Backup & Restore lets you make copies of the system image for reinstallation as well as a repair disk. If you have not already formatted the drive you can still use it to reinstall or you will have to follow the manual install instructions. Directions for reinstalling Windows HERE.
