Windows 8 re-installation with SSD
My computer crashed and I reinstalled Windows 8, but the disk partition created then is very unfortunate: Windows and all other programs are installed at my SSD, that it completely filled. Can I solve this without having to re-reinstall Windows? Can I move parts of windows to the normal harddisk? Or if I'm forced to reinstall Windows, how do I arrange it that the disk use it optimal?

Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Unfortunately you will not be able to move the windows file to another drive, if you do so the operating system my stop working.
I would recommend you to reinstall the operating system on HDD; you will be able to recognize the HDD by looking at the size during the installation.
Let me know if you have any more questions please.
Thanks,

Thanks for the quick response. I tried (several times) to reinstall Windows, using the reinstallation of Windows 8 settings and the recovery DVD, but it keeps putting all programs on the SSD and I'm not given a chance to choose differently.

Hi, I got one stap further and stuck again: Windows 8 won't install on my HDD as it has a 'MBR partition table', while it requires a GPT disk'. So the next question is how to change my HDD from MBR to GPT. Anyone a good suggestion?

Hi,
Please click here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-IN/windows-8/clean-install and perform a clean installation of Windows.
Let me know if this helped.

Hi,
Finally managed to fix it; thanks for the advice.
After removing the 350 Mb FAT32 part (I still don't know how it got there and what is was for but my computer seems to work fine without) I could change the partition to GPT. Then I could install Windows on the HDD.
