XPS 420 mulfunction

I have XPS 420 bought in 2008. Since then I replace processor from 2 core to 4 core , replace power supply ,replace RAM stick from 4GB to 8GB , replace graphics card and optical drive. Lately I experienced suddenly computer is shutting off with out any warning in time when I'm doing some work. This happen randomly and without any visible reason ( heavy workload , aggressive graphics( et. cet.).South Gate chip is little hot. Is it sign of the wearing motherboard?

TedP,

Run the disagnostics on the system to see if anything comes back as failing. To run the onboard diags follow the information below.

Turn on or restart the computer.
When the Dell logo appears, press immediately. If you wait too long and the operating system logo appears, continue to wait until you see the Microsoft® Windows® desktop, and then shut down the computer and try again.
When the boot device list appears, highlight Boot to Utility Partition and press .
When the Dell Diagnostics main menu appears, select the test you want to run.
