XPS 8000 won't start
HI
I having problem with XPS 8000 as it won't start since yesterday. The electricity disappeared in all house for half hour and then computer does not show any sign of liveliness. When power cable connected no green light at the back only can see amber light on mother board and it completely disappears when holding power button for 15 sec. I tried take battery out of mother board and put back again in won't make difference.
Can it be power supply or button failing ?
Please help
Thank You

Hi,
Based on the description, it looks like a power supply failure.
Do you see a button at the back which, while pressed gives a green light on the power supply unit?

Hi,
The issue appears to be a PSU failure.
Just to confirm that, is it possible for you to remove the RAM, Graphics card, and connections to HDD and DVD drive.
Try powering on the PC with bare motherboard and no peripherals or components connected, Check if that makes a difference.
Thanks

Hi
I took the computer to PC world to fix and they tested so it was power supply failure. I got it replaced to more powerful and now is working just fine.
Thank You
