XPS 8500 (Early 2012): In the default config, what are the spare slots and how many?

I'm away from my desktop at the moment but could do with the answer before I go home as I would like to place an order for an internal card to add some extra USB 3 ports.

I have the XPS 8500 (Early 2012) with the AMD 7700 card and have not opened or added anything to the PC.

Does anyone know the type and number of spare slots with this system?

Thanks for any replies

I used an Inateck USB 3.0 PCI Express Card in my XPS 8300:

I used the power splitter for the connector of the Optical Drive. It should also work well in an XPS 8500.

For the XPS 8500 you may also want to install a mSATA SSD and migrate the factory settings to it:
