XPS 8700 Not booting

When switching on my computer this morning the windows recovery blue screen came up, i rebooted my computer and now its coming up with a black screen reporting this:

No boot device available.

SATA 0: Installed

SATA 1: Installed

SATA 2: None

SATA 3: None

SATA 4: None

SATA 5: None

Strike the F1 key to retry boot, F2 to run the setup utility.

I have run the dell diagnostics and there are no errors at all and i have also put the bios into its optimized default options but to no avail.

Can someone please help me with this?

rprivate,

Remove the hard drive and reseat it back. Reboot the computer to see if it will then boot up. Also, boot into the system bios to see what the primary hard drive reads. To enter the bios start the computer and tap the F2 key.

Version of Windows?

What color is power button and is it steady or blinking when PC won't boot?

Do you know the default BIOS settings are correct for your hardware? If you have the optional 32-GB SSD cache drive installed, SATA Mode needs to be set to RAID in BIOS setup, but the default setting may be ATA.
