XPS 8700 USB 2.0 Charging port and iPad/iTunes

Seem to have a problem with that port and iTunes when the iPad is attached to it.

iTunes is SET to do a BACKUP when the iPad is attached. In that left hand top port it starts the back up process then stops and starts again, and again, and again.

Disconnected the iPad, put it on the one next to it and the process worked as expected.

Should the charging port cause the back up to abort? It almost seems like iTunes loses connection to the iPad and then sees it again and starts over?

Anyone else see this? Can't use the charging port with iTunes?

Hello NATALIA,

Your link did not take me anywhere except to the input screen.

Did you provide this worthless link on purpose?

USB ports on top of XPS 8700 do not charge an iPad!

Any help.
