XPS 8700 shut down and now will not boot
I powered up and used PC this morning. I left for an hour and when I got back the PC had shut down and would not power up. I have followed the guides with no results. I am at a loss. The power supply test button lights the LED and the fans come on. Any ideas?

Can you disconnect all the peripherals from the machine and try powering on the PC with only the monitor connected?
