XPS 8900 Fan speed in windows 10

Is there a way to read the fan speeds of the CPU fan and system fan from inside windows? I've tried hwmonitor, speedfan, and even nzxt's CAM software and none of them can read/see the fan speeds. So far the only way i can read fanspeeds is to boot in the F12 diagnostics and read the fan speeds from there, not exactly useful.

Thanks in advance

Rickyli99,

There isnt any way to read the fans speeds within Windows 10.

Unfortunately, there aren't many reliable apps for Windows 10 available. Below are a couple of others you may want to check out. I doubt they are free, but may have a free trial period.

Hello Ricky,

I use HWiNFO (https://www.hwinfo.com/) and it provides all information about the hardware, including fans. You can also control them, but I don't know for sure if it works fine with Dell PCs.

SpeedFan can also read the fans if you turn on the option "Enable Dell support".

But imo HWiNFO is the best, the most complete solution for hardware monitoring (and it's free!).

André.
