XPS 8920, Nvidia GTX 1060, Samsung S32D850T, HDMI to HDMI, flickers

I have a brand new XPS 8920 system running Windows 10 Pro with the Nvidia GTX 1060 graphics card and an HDMI cable connected to a brand new Samsung S32D850T monitor.  From time to time, seemingly at random, the screen will go blank for a few seconds and then return to normal.  I've tried to disable the Intel display adapter driver in Windows 10, and uninstall the driver, but upon reboot the driver returns. I also have a Dell Inspiron 15 (3537) laptop with an HDMI connection to the same monitor that does not exhibit this behavior. Is there a fix available for this bug?

Thanks,

Tim

Those are not options - I need HDMI to work properly.

I would try a display port or DVI cable rather than use HDMI.

Did you check the Nvidia website for a newer GTX 1060 driver?

Samsung S32D850T only has one HDMI 1.4 in port. Did you test both the XPS 8920 and the Inspiron 15-3537 to the S32D850T HDMI in port using the same HDMI to HDMI cable? And in both cases, the S32D850T resolution was set to 2560x1440 60 Hz?

Did you open the Inspiron 15-3537 Windows 10 Power & sleep settings, then compare those to the XPS 8920 Windows 10 Power & sleep settings?
