XPS/Dimension XPS Gen 5 - Best Processor?

What is the absolute best processor I can put in an XPS Generation 5 computer with the Dell 0GC068 mainboard based on the Intel i955x chipset?  I'm currently running a Pentium D830 Smithfield in it.

Looking for the most absolute, top-of-the-line processor I can upgrade this box with.

Thanks.

Unforgiven817,

From Dell, it would be:
FC071 Prescott P4 Kit, 670, 3.8GHz, 800FSB, 2MB

If memory serves me that's a single-core Processor.  Anyone have any "non-Dell" solutions that will still work?

In a Gen5 if you are looking for dual core then an 840EE works and will oc to 3.6 via the bios.  955EE and 965EE will boot but not run at the right multiplier and will not oc so avoid them.  It has been reported that a pentium d 945 and 950 will work, I dont know about the 960.  Pentium D 945 are pretty cheap now.  If you are looking for single core, the P4 670 3.8 800fsb and P4EE 3.73 1066fsb will work.
