XPS Gen 5 HEAT/FAN Monitors

i believe only dells laptops can be monitered

I cannot believe this. I think we deserve to monitor our system. Do you hear me dell? :(

It clearly does, as the fan speeds will vary with temperature - but the sensors are part of a closed loop and there's no way for you to monitor them.

If you want to monitor, add the hardware.

You will need to add a hardware monitor such as a Thermaltake Hardcano (www.thermaltake.com).

I *need* to monitor each of those fans and my CPU temp. How can I do this?

 

wait a sec? the xps gen 5? which costed me overall over $2,400 doesn't have heat sensors????

I asked them why I got a blue screen and beeping from my two week old Dell XPS Gen 5 all of a sudden, and I got this response:

"The game isn't compatiable".

Yeah, that must be it.

VERY disappointed so far.

Don't you ever use that program on you xps 5, it caused a memory problem. I restarted twice, and it won't start. Solution: The pc fixed himself. I shot down the battery for a while, and voala!, it started normally, half hour later.
