Xps 730 H2C DOA.

After waiting for 3 weeks and paying 7500 for it, my computer wont stay on for longer then 10 minutes. I am typing this from the computer right now actually and every 10 minutes the computer freezes and makes weird sounds from the speakers. I cant test anything in BIOS, the memory test freezes, the hard drive test freezes. Not sure what to do anymore, called up tech support and they could not do anything even had me remove one of the memory sticks. I guess i will have to exchange it or just get a computer from another company. What do you guys think, thank you.

Yeah, i called them up and they said to call back in an hour because their order system is down, i don't believe it though for some reason.

Do you have a case number? If you do, call Dell and make sure the case file indicates you will getting a replacement.

I'd call them until you get an answer that you want to hear. Dont rely on them calling you back

Well i knew it was a lie, they are telling me the replacement i will get in 5-7 business days but the information on my compensation for 500 dollars credit is nowhere to be found. I think i need to contact coroporate headquarters or something, because this is unexceptable. Especially since they are saying i might not see the order status for 3 days, how do i know they aren't trying to postpone till the 21 days is up. Also they are claiming that the replacement will have to be on the same 21 day policy is that true, because i have a feeling they will delay the shipping till the 21 day policy is up and i will have no way out sigh. I really want this computer to work don't know what other company to go with.

I was actually thinking about the blackbird but their warranty is not good from what i heard, and i have heard of a lot of problems with them. Not sure if theres any truth to that, but if i don't receive the replacement within a week i am going to try and go for a blackbird. Thanks.

Since you spent $7500 on the xps 730 and want to return it, I would recommend the HP Blackbird PC which was co-developed with Voodoo PC:
