adapter for adding fan to dimension 4700
I want to add another case fan to my dimension 4700 but am unsure of what adapter I need. The attached picture shows the sata cable off my PSU that it will connect to. Help is appreciated thanks

Chances are the fan will have a 4-pin Molex connector, so you'll need a Molex>SATA power adaptor or power cable.
Unless you buy a fan with a SATA power connector which should connect directly to that SATA PSU connector.

Thanks But I should have been clearer in my post. With my eyesight I am really having trouble distinguishing if the sata end needs to be male or female.

Thanks for your help. For right now I'm going to hold off on a second fan.After reading the posts ad nausem on cooling fans on this model I finally did what I should have ages ago and reversed the CPU fan and what a difference! I may not need that second fan
but if I do thanks for your help
