agp slot?

i got a dell 2400,my question is can i have an agp slot put on?

is there a reason i cant?,,i see there is a spot for one,,, might be a stupid question but then again im kinda stupid,,,lol

I answered your question on another post that you responded to.  The motherboard on the 2400 does not have an AGP slot, NOR can you add one.  The only option you have to get an AGP slot is to replace the motherboard, or buy a different system.

If you are within your 30 time frame from invoice date on your 2400, return the system to Dell and upgrade to a 4600 system, which does have an AGP slot and is more suitable for gaming.  From time to time, Dell does have some good deals on the 4600, and if yu watch carefully, you can get one for close to what you paid for your 2400.

It's a shame that Dell does not boldly state the fact that the 2400 system does not have an AGP slot.  It would save many of the frustrated 2400 owners some grief, if they just knew ahead of time before ordering.
