Have studio 1537 with black screen. Am able to view on external monitor. Now what do I do to get video on laptop. Help.

If there is no display even in Bios startup , then it is an LCD parts problem. Contact Dell Tech for confirmation , and Spare parts for replacement LCD

Never, ever, never call Dell tech support. talked to 4 "people" I could not understand. Had to pay over $50.00 for that. Finally understood that I had to send it in for an additional $350.00 for repairs plus tax. Listen carefully, and you will hear a Dell laptop hit the bottom of the dumpster.
