What happens when you push the power button without unplugging it? Any signs of "life"?

When was last time you replaced motherboard battery?

When I turn it on, the Dell LOGO appears and the small wheel below shows, turning for a moment, then the screen goes blank. The light on the power button stays on.

What color Is the power button and is it steady or does it give a "blink code"?

Reboot and IMMEDIATELY press F2 to open BIOS setup. Look for the Secure Boot option and if it's enabled, disable it.

Do not change anything else in BIOS setup, but be sure to save the change to Secure Boot -if you made one- before exiting setup.

I changed the "secure Boot" to disable as suggested but to no effect. I still can't boot my computer constantly.

Did you replace the motherboard battery?

No I have not. Is there a proper way to run a diagnosis (maybe a utility program? ) to actually

determine what the problem is and therefor target the correct solution, as opposed to trying different ideas to solve the problem?
