brand new studio 1555 rear 5.1 speaker wont work
hello ive just got this new laptop ive had it about a week or so now and today i tryed hooking my surround sound up to it so anyway i put the front 3.5mm plug in the first slot on the side center in second and rear in 3rd it changed over to 5.1 but theres absoulty no sound coming from the rear speakers ive checked the speakers there fine and no settings have been changed because its brand new! anybody got any ideas?

This is the Desktop Audio Section, best to repost on the Laptop Audio section for assistance.
One thing to check. Go to the Control Panel/Hardware and Sound/Sound Panel and check the speaker configuration (where you set it for 5.1). I'm not familiar with Laptop 5.1 systems but that is what is needed on a Desktop.
