dell inspiron 560 replaced vid card now fans seem like in overdrive no keyboard mouse or monitor on boot.
silk purse or sows ear? I play wow gts 450, 500 watt power supply and wow mouse. had to replace vid card under warranty refurbished gts 450 hooked up and turned on fans seem to be running very fast, no keyboard mouse or monitor booted. Turned of and reinstalled same thing, tried repeatedly nothing changed. Twice the keyboard lit up 3 audible beeps and flashing amber light. within the last year Dell replaced motherboard hard drive and processor...
extended warranty thank god. please help,,,,,,,,

The 500Watt Power Supply is not warrantied by dell and that is what is failing.
If the power light is blinking amber — The computer is receiving electrical power, but an internal power problem (BAD Power Supply) exists.
If the power light is green/blue and the computer is not responding check the Diagnostic Lights.
If the power light is blinking green/blue , the computer is in standby mode.
If the power light is steady amber, a device may be malfunctioning or incorrectly installed.
Remove and then reinstall the memory modules.
Remove and then reinstall any cards.
